Do I need to install anything on my server?: No. Sitebeat runs checks from our infrastructure. You just register the URL and the email for alerts; no need to add scripts or code to your site.
How many sites can I monitor on the free plan?: On the free plan you can add one monitor. For more URLs and shorter intervals, the paid plan offers unlimited monitoring.
Do alerts work for APIs and services?: Yes. Any URL reachable over the internet can be monitored: websites, REST APIs, health checks, and other endpoints. If the response doesn't come in time or returns an error, you get the alert.
